I have a signed poster that I would like to hang on the wall in my office. I do not want to frame it, merely hang it. If I use wallpaper adhesive, will it be strippable if at some point I should want to remove it? I do not want to damage the Sheetrock wall.

I would attatch it to a piece of foam core w a spray on adhesive. This allows for even coverage. You can the hang this by using a stick on hanger on the back, get it rated for the weight. Then you can keep the piece and not have to deal w getting glued paper off the wall.

Buy foam core at any hobby store or some Wal-Marts and Targets have it.

use command hook sticky’s. Not the plastic part.

It will not be removable using wall paper adhesive with out damaging the poster. I agree with Jack using spray adhesive and gluing it to foam board.

The answer is no. I would go buy a piece of foam core, and spray adhesive, spray the board and mount your poster. Then use 2-sided foam strips to mount to the wall.

I agree with above comments. Don't glue it to your wall. Not only will you damage your wall, you will never get it off in one piece.

Yes, you could , but I wpould suggest there are other ways to fix it - even a poster clip frame...(No actual frame)

If it is signed you don't want to damage it trying to take it down or move it. Put it in a shadow box that way it would be behind glass to help protect it.

  • I would not use wallpaper adhesive. It's meant to last.

You don't have to frame it to have it mounted. My mom used to collect Willie Nelson movie posters. She had them mounted onto a thick but light weight foam board. This also allowed her the ability to hang these on the wall without damaging the poster.
