What to do about bath room cabinet

The cabinet is too high and narrow. As you see I am in the process of painting. I am short so the front of the bottom cabinet is about all I can reach. Have to throw the towels up there. Forget the top shelf.

I’d take the door off and use them as shelves. You could paint it to match your walls and do a bright color inside. Put things on the top shelf you don’t use often but are pretty and roll your towels to put on the other shelves. Add a nice piece of art between the cabinet or a little towel rack for decorative guest towels. Hope that helps.

eithe take the cabinet down and replace it with a longer one, or simply move it down to a more appropriate height. You will need to either screw it into a stud or use wall anchors....you probably still wont be able to use the space above the newly positioned cabinet regularly, but a couple of baskets to hold rarely used items, or pretty boxes to match your bathroom decor or silk plants will fill the space nicely.

I would move it down. You should be able to attach it to the same studs. Put a tall floral or something interesting on top.

You could also take it down, remove the shelves, turn it sideways, and add new shelves. Put the hinged side at the top so you can raise the door. Or take the door off

Take it down completely. Add 3 sets of shelves on each wall so you have corner shelving. On the top one add decorative items. Use plain stained (or whatever) boards with iron-looking brackets to hold them up..
