Score lines in the paper (I like the Paper Tiger tool) and spray with water. Allow to soak in and scrape the wet loose paper off of the wall. If there is paper left stuck to the wall, repeat the process.

After you peel as much off as you can, then scrape more off, then wipe the remaining paper with a mixture of hot water and liquid fabric softener. It will peel right off.

I have used my iron on steam setting, and a very wet washrag...then used a plastic scraper to help remove it. For any glue that remains, I use Goo Gone

Steam, on a very humid day

Hi Vfroust, we used a heat gun and paint scrappers .the wallpeper had been on the walls a long time, as this was an old house. Once we started to remove the wallpaper, we had a nasty surprise, the walls had been painted underneath with line paint. This made our job a lot harder, as lime paint is a curse to get off, pluss you have to keep rinceing the wall's. Hope you don't run into anything like this. It takes awhile but the wallpaper eventually comes off. We hired the heat gun. Good luck. Kay Adelaide Australia
