I would collect ideas from magazines, on-line sites and actual bathrooms you like (from friends' houses, hotels, home improvement store showrooms, etc.). Take lots of photos. Then spread all of them out and select a few favorites. Keep whittling them down until you have your "dream" bathroom. Then get estimates on each feature/fixture until your budget works.
