You should be able to get wood filler/putty and fill in the areas of wood that was chewed. Fill, sand and hopefully, you can match a stain or paint to cover the filled area.
Ban the dog from the Bedroom........or Cover the Bed Legs with Plastic Down Pipes
Wood putty and furniture pens can do wonders.
Fill damage with wood putty in the tub ( I find the kind in the smaller tubes is very sandy) keeping a wet finger can guide the application. Sand repair if needed and restain. The minwax stain markers work well for small repair areas.
For large or structural areas the epoxy putty stick is an excellent aid for any wood repair. It can be drilled sanded and painted ( staining might be tricky) I always have an epoxy stick on hand for household repairs and crafting.
