Buy clean wheat straw bales for less weed growth.
Leave the baling twine on and lay your bale so that the straw ends are facing up. Sprinkle fertilizer over the top of the bale.
Wet the bale three times a week for 10 weeks.
Use a little soil and compost to make a 6” deep growing area down the center of the bale.
Sow your seed!
