Idea to cover pedestal sink

I have this awful pedestal sink, compliments of prior owners. If anyone has an idea other than a curtain bar, can you help. We don't have a lot of money for a renovation and I'd like to change it up

i had used Velcro to the under edge of a sink to hold a sink to floor curtian. Gave me a bit of space for the extra tp, tub cleaner.
My opinion, that sink is beautiful! I would love that sink! How about offering it for sale on Nextdoor.com and that might get you a head start for something more to your style and liking.

I had a similar sink in a house I lived in a long time ago. I just attached some heavy-duty Velcro to the perimeter of it and sewed a skirt and sewed the other component of the Velcro to the skirt. Worked out great. The fabric was the same as I used for the window treatments.
My opinion, it's a beautiful sink. How about just adding a couple of baskets underneath with rolled linens or magazines? You can change up the room with a different color on the walls. 'Mistints' at Sherwin Williams sell for next to nothing. Maybe a warm cream color will make your fixtures more appealing to you. Best of luck.
I bought a couple of small corner shelved the tight height and put them under the sink Then I decorated by placing my angel collection on the shelves
I had a tall glass fronted shelf in one corner. So I didn't need the storage.
