You can buy scented oils for pinecones at most department stores. I buy the cinnamon aroma oils. Just a few drops on the pinecones and put them in a plastic zip bag over night. They will fill the room with aroma!
they make scented oils, have never done it, but would brush come with oil, let dry and use. May be oily to touch but if your using as scent in house put in a clear plastic lined basket, add ribbon and you're done. Hobby Lobby probably has oils.
