Has anyone made a frame by just scrunching up aluminum foil?

When I was in elementary school I did. Very easy...scrunch aluminum foil...then wrap around a frame. You can paint it with acrylic paint and gently wipe off some of the paint. Another thing you can do is glue down heavy yarn onto the frame in a zigzag (or any pattern) then wrap the aluminum. Makes a fun easy project for the kids too!
