    try a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive and pull gently and slowly

    We filled a spray bottle with water. Sprayed the border and let it sit about half and hour. It came right off. What was left behind (a slight sheen) washed away with tsp.

    I hear that adding a little fabric softener to the water helps.
