Has anyone ever used foam faux tin ceiling tiles instead of real ones?

Check out Armstrong decorative ceiling tiles! We used these in our home when they first became popular in the 90's. EVERY person that came into our home marveled at the ceiling (which was just plain white - but they can be painted). They are considerably less expensive than tin, and hold up very well. Armstrong has SO many different types of easy install options now that are just beautiful - I wouldn't hesitate to suggest them as an option! The answer is yes,& much easier & cheaper to use.. though i am unsure of Laws where you are however if the place is Heritage then usually they must be contacted otherwise fines can be issued... Reasons are many to do with Heritage places..

oh & the look is more than passable...

{I have been in trade for over 30 years, many would prefer you spend lots & give a tonne of confusing reasons to why one must purchase one product over another; this is simple confliction of businesses, though do be good to yourself & contact your local Heritage board for their final permission/or statements, then nothing will come back to bite you legally.}
