Any ideas for stenciling or otherwise camouflaging a cracked concrete

I'd like the look of an old weathered/worn painted concrete floor...It is an outdoor uncovered patio.@30 results are available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate.mary beth

I used one the concrete form makers..that you would pour the concrete in to make the sidewalk. (mine looked like cobblestone) I First sprayed the entire walk with green spray paint , then I took the form..flipped it over and used spray paint (.I used a brown and a antique bronze) and sprayed inside the form..then kept moving the form as I went along (spraying)..when that part was done I overlapped the form (covering the parts I had already sprayed brown or bronze) and then repeated using another colour. When I was happy with the look , I took the form and spray paint and filled in some spots that needed more. When all done it looked like a cobblestone walk with the green looking like moss between the stones..Not sure if this makes sense...and I explained it well enough... I'll try and post a photo

Lovely, but not quite what I was looking for. I don't want the look of separate pavers, rather a large room size design as in the floor of an old monastery or castle???

You could try to "make" a d sign pattern with the cracks and use a skill saw with a mason blade. Pop some lines and use straight edge if needed and u can create an etched pattern look then stain with multi colors for a rustic expensive look. Large diamond pattern looks really nice. They then become large "paver" stone look. If you want to go wild you could destress the concrete more and really go for natural stone colors. Another option is to put up edgers, use cement bonding glue then pour self leveling for clean slate. Last quick idea...depending where the damage is, you could cut out sections for fire pit, planters, bird bath. Hope something gives you an idea. My brain doesn't stop with ideas, so I try to avoid the questions sections bc I love solving Problems and can stay on ? Section for hours.

I would find a stencil that was close to large Travertine tile size, run it on a diagonal or a running brick pattern. I would work with the cracks and try to highlight them almost like old broken tiles...if that is the look you want?
