My house is in the country and has wrap around porches. Many places to hide.

  • Spray those areas that are attractive to the wasps with a good wasp spray. They don't like the smell and stay away.

Try to locate their nest. Remove the nest at night. I know this sounds crazy, but that is the time wasps and bees go dormant. Then spray the heck out of that nest. Wear long pants and long sleeves when you do this.

Make a wasp trap using recycled soda bottles..... you can make a hanger by using a hot paper clip to poke 2 holes at the top of the bottle and run a wire through it to hang them.

Repel wasps with fake nest.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRHo01SzucY

If you do have a nest, I too use Hornet & Wasp spray, wait till almost dark when they are cold and in their nest, and spray the heck out of the hole and the nest itself. Then get inside. They will be dead in morning. If any do reappear spray again.
