It is apparently good for removing tar tires but I think it is too harsh to use in home. Your best product for home use is baking soda and vinegar or household ammonia.
Cleans the battery connections in my vehicle nicely.
Pour it in the toilet bowl, let it sit a while, then scrub and flush.
