Lightly sand, clean and spray pain t with Rustoleums 2X for wood, giving it tow light coats allowing to dry in between
Hi Cheryl. You can paint it. I would lightly sand it and then prime it first so the paint adheres good.
Absolutely! Be sure to clean it well using TSP then give it a light sanding. It should hold paint well!
😊
Great thank you all!
Of course you can! I'd get a gloss or at minimum a semi-gloss paint that will wear well from cleaning.
Yes you can. I've been a furniture painter for 30 years and have painted almost anything you can imagine. Use a quality latex paint like Sherwin Williams. I use eggshell finish because it's not too shiny but not flat and is extremely durable and washable. Be sure to sand it well and use a primer since it will be getting lots of use. If you prep properly it will last for many years and there will be no need for a poly.
Thank you so much
