Why do I get hundreds of cucumber blossems and very very few cucumbers

Cucumbers need to be pollinated so if you have a good sized patch then take the back of your lawn rake and gently tape the plants so that the pollen falls all over. If they are in a container, then use a Qtip and do by hand.
Cause they have not been fertilized.
Sounds like they need some fertilizing.
i use a small watercolor type paint brush to pollenate most of my veggies
