How to get streaks off stainless steel fridge?

my grandson put several stickers on my stainless steel fridge...i got them all off but in the process I now have terrible "runs" or streaks all the way down the front and no matter what I use to try and clean them off they wont go away..I dont know if its glue from stickers or from the cleaning products ...can you help?

Try Bon Ami. I like to use baking soda but for tough jobs the Bon Ami has feldspar in it which seems to help.
