I am completely dumb when it comes to this kind of thing so forgive the question I am about to ask. Can you just buy grout and then buy glitter to mix in? also if I want the grout to be a certain color say black and and then the glitter gold can I change the color by adding something? Thanks in advance

I saw the lady make it on las vegas flip or flop. She just mixed the glitter right into the grout and also shoved extra glitter into the grouted spaces. You if you get on demand on your TV you might be able to watch the episode, or their web might have more infor.

I would do some research on this before going forward. There are several DIY comments that mixing glitter straight into grout was not very successful. It looks like the most successful applications are in epoxy grout mixes that can be purchased. If you really like that look, springing for the epoxy pre-mixed blends might actually save you money and labor: here's why ... 1) (cleaning grout labor) later, as they should be fairly immune to mildew and mold growth, and 2) you can be assured that your result will be the look you are aiming for (... instead of having a flop and having to scrape it out and start over, costing you lots of time, and extra money. I hate it when that happens, don't you??). This discussion board might be a helpful place to start your research. http://www.johnbridge.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=17809
