porcelin doesn’t rust. Iron rusts. Clr for bathroom got the orange gone from the toilet bowel. I have a water softener...there are salt pellets formulated to remove the iron.

CLR Home and Bath - great product, $4, WalMart. You might need several applications. Turn off the water at the wall, flush the toilet so it is empty, spray it down with CLR, leave it overnight before you scrub it. If the porcelain is scratched you will continue to have problems in those areas.

Been doing this .. plain old white vinegar ! i get a gallon jug of vinegar at the grocery store and just pour it in a circular motion around your toilet let it sit a few minutes. It will start working immediately, then brush and flush!
