How to make sleeves with double puff

I'm making a Pennywise doll (from 2017 movie) as requested by my adult grandson. I can't figure out how to make the double puff sleeve. Anybody know how or could direct me to a website that shows how? Thank you.

Start by checking out doll cloths patterns from McCalls or Simplicity.. they may have a pattern you can use. Meanwhile... reply to this post... and I will research this Pennywise doll and see the outfits... then I may be able to give you more help.

Thanks for the idea, Marty. I am doing this for a doll...a bit smaller than an American Girl. I hadn't thought of using a people dress pattern. I don't really need the pattern to fit the doll; just how to shape the pattern piece...I can figure out sizing on my own as I re-face and re-dress dolls from Barbie through American Girl and constantly re-size patterns.

I just can't visualize the shape the sleeve pattern needs to be to create the double puffs. I have already figured out how to do the lower portion of the sleeve.

So, going to McCalls or Simplicity in the costume area is a GREAT suggestion...one I hadn't thought about. And, seeing it in people-size will make it easier to figure out than in a tiny doll-size pattern. Thank you so very much for your suggestion. It's wonderful having people like you "out there" to re-direct me when I get a brain hiccup! Thanks again!
