I made shelves in the area under our stairs for a pantry. Then used simple items around the house for storage. The shelves have a unique rustic "trim" that fit our cabin. See the trim and more photos by clicking the link below.
Pantry Tips
Mason jars will hold anything!
I love the love of cereal in a clear jar. Even if I have to stack the cereal! :)
Wicker picnic baskets hold the ugly!
I like to hang or prop up pictures on shelves to add a touch of pretty too.
The shelves I made to hold all our containers. Notice on the left side of the photo, there's a brown door. There are two doors pictured below.
I made these doors at the smallest height under the staircase. The photo below shows the cleaning supply area.
This mess is the cleaning supplies in the shortest part of the pantry. The door hide the mess. Our under the stairs area is larger then some because our staircase goes up two flights with a landing. Thank you for reading.

Can you add a picture of the pantry? I want to add one under my stairs and looking for ideas.

I just got from Costco the clear square stackable boxes..... wonderful for storage of dry stuff and easy to close. The center has a button that you press to open and press again to close.

@Country Design Style-Jeanette With Costco they have it and then they don't. So if you see them get them. I actually got 2 mega boxes with 8 containers each last year, and by the time I washed them and started using them I realized I need much more, but then... Costco did not have them anymore. I was looking for them for over a year, and now they finally have them here, got two more immediately. The nice thing is that even the hubby can handle closing them. lol
