Front Porch Transformation
This old rotten porch never knew it could look so good! All it took was a dose of Spring Fever and one thing lead to another. It started when I decided to paint the swing and the rocking chairs but once I saw them in place I knew I had to stain the porch flooring and the stairs. And as I said one thing lead to another. This is what she looks like now, so inviting and relaxing don't you think?
And this is what we started with :( A dilapidated, rickity mess! Kinda scary but Spook, our cat didn't mind.
She's Welcoming now and Spook even enjoys his new space as well!
First, we had her rebuilt. Our home is over 100 years old and we have been restoring her for 10 years! She got a new roof, windows and a new front door.
My husband cleaned up the old railing and painted it, the ceiling and the siding!
I got busy painting the swing and the rocking chairs and then I couldn't stop there.
And together we got r done! In all her glory, she's a beauty!
