A concrete light pole in way of parking area needs protection for cars

There is concrete (1' sq) that is in parking area that needs bumpers guards to keep car bumpers from getting banged/scraped up; any ideas???

    Try making it look like a boat dock . use the bumper pads they use on boats

    Less attractive than Reba's suggestion, wrap it with pool noodles, or really go Jedd clampett and stack up used tires...good luck getting them over the top of the pole! Seriously, do you have room to build a planter around it?
  • What about rope? It would take a lot of rope but maybe put something underneath (such as cut off pool noodles) and then wrap them in the rope to cover and look nice. the top could simply be a cap of sorts like a piece of wood attached or even a large pan or even a solar light.

    Great ideas guys. Nobody wants to scuff their car up after paying a bomb or working out financing for a shiny new car!
