Garage Reveal

From the time we moved in, it was my husband's dream to finish the garage. 8 years and many attempts later, I was determined to make that dream come true. Torn out paneling, drywall, texture, paint, organization, trim and finishing, new lighting; it's all here. One of the most challenging projects of my home improvement experiences has proven to be worth all the sweat and tears.
Garage Now
Little touch ups proved to draw big benefits as well, but I'm here to say, this isn't meant to be a one woman job.
Garage Before
The garage was by no means a place to park the car. It was just simply a catch all to clutter and unfinished projects.
Painting the garage floor- prep work
The greatest challenge of all was preparing the floor for paint. You can read about the process I used here: http://shelstringblog.blogspot.com/2013/10/31-days-of-completion-finishing-garage.html

Garage Workshop
Suffering the same issues of difficult access and need for efficiency, this spring I will be tackling the work space. I can't wait to be able to use this area for what it was intended.
Finished Garage
Using minimal expense, utilizing what I already had on hand, I was able to make remarkable changes.
Organized wall- Yard supplies
It's so refreshing to be able to find things and know where they are when you need them!
