My Crepe Myrtles, too, have taken off this year. Mine have formed an arch over my walkway. I love it. My Jeep hates it, as it's always covered in pink flowers.

My crepe myrtle had so many flowers, that the tree kinda fell apart when it rained so hard a couple days back. My mom tied it back together and was refusing to cut the pink flowers to lighten the tree! Not sure if this was a good idea.
