Design & Décor Painting

I am in the process of redoing my craft/scrap room.

Looking for suggestions on paint colors for the walls. I am leaning towards a yellow or gold, but not sure about the coordinating colors.

Pamala, the colors I mentioned are somewhat like the one in the first room. See how it is used in moderation with white dominating and black accenting? If you are going for this shade then paint one wall. A lighter version would be like the one in the second picture. If you are looking for something more lighter and creamier then see the third picture. But before you even think color, is the room well lit? Natural light or artificial? effect unless there is sufficient light in the room. For a well lit room, yellow will brighten the space and make it cheery. People assume painting a lighter color in a dark room will make it come alive, this is wrong when there is no light, color will never come alive. If you have access to the SW website let me know, I'll walk you through some colors.

    • A brighter yellow, used in moderation
    • This yellow is much lighter then the previous color and is used liberally
    • A much lighter and creamier yellow, this color can be tricky sometimes!
