Donna Shipley on Apr 01, 2014I've never tried it, but I don't see why you couldn't add paint and I'm sure you could add glitter just might not be as smooth. I think food coloring would be a lot more transparent than paint. So it depends on the look you're going for.Helpful Reply

Heather Taylor on Jul 29, 2014If you use food coloring, and put your jars outside, the sun will bleach every bit of color right out of them. Even if you seal them. Learned the hard way. :-(Helpful Reply
