DIY Painted Sea Glass Salsa Jars
by

(IC: blogger)
Save up jars and bottles and give them the look and feel of sea glass with paint.
These salsa (taco sauce) jars were the perfect shape to use for vases.
Clean and dry your jars and remove all labels and ink stamps. Paint on two coats of glass paint. To obtain the the look of sea glass, I used Martha Stewart Frosted Glass Paint which dries to a translucent and textured finish.
Add embellishments and flowers of your choice and enjoy. The full tutorial is on my blog.

Have a question about this project?
I went to your blog and found this project, but it looped back to the Hometalk post. Did you use ONLY the MS frosted paint, or did you use another color of glass paint and then topped it off with the frosted paint? (It may seem obvious but I'm not sure and since I couldn't get to the tutorial, I thought I'd ask.) Thanks! Allison in CoMO
