Budget Bathroom Transformation

After we purchased our 1988 townhome we didn't have a very large budget for any sort of major remodeling or renovations. My goal was to get rid of the dated honey oak and brass finishes without breaking the bank. The places these dated finishes were most obvious were the bathrooms. Using only $500 I was able to completely transform the space and make it much more my style.
Changes include: Painting the walls and cabinets, cutting down the plate glass mirror and framing it, removing the sliding glass shower doors, changing the light and plumbing fixtures, adding hardware to the cabinets, adding window treatments and spray painting the brass medicine cabinet.

Where did you get the "bath" towel holder that is above the toilet?

I used the rust-oleum cabinet transformation kit, it is a miracle paint, and enough to do many projects!
