  • Most tilt mounts only angle the TV a few degrees. Depending upon the slant on the wall will determine if mounting system will work. The angle of the mount is determined on how high or low you mount your TV Also depending upon the framing within the wall will also determine height and placement. You may need to hire a contractor to build the wall out to provide you with a suitable angle or flat wall so the TV can be properly mounted. You also need to understand TV mounts are not designed structurally to mount TVs on anything more then a flat wall. Same goes with the TV themselves. the weight that the TV has can cause failure of the four tiny bolts provided causing them to crack the plastic backing. If you have no other choice to mount on angle, I would suggest that you contract a pro to evaluate and do this for you.
