The Little Shelf I Bulilt

I see these little shelves all over the home decor stores, like Kirkland's and Hobby Lobby. They range in price anywhere from $40 to $70. I wanted to share the little shelf I built a while ago with a $4.00 Goodwill find and a little leftover moulding.
I placed my little shelf under my wall mounted TV to give it a little more interest.
My $4.00 Goodwill find. You can see it is all dinged up and scratched.
I straightened the moulding to fit the bottom of the shelf. Then I glued the the moulding to the shelf and attached some brackets to the back to hold it together. Sorry, but I missed to take a picture of that.
A closer look! I originally wanted to paint theshelf white and then distress it. However, I primed it with gray spray primer and sanded it and actually liked the look of the sanded primer. It is almost a grayish blue and came out really smooth. I decided to keep it that way.
