Trending In Home Decor: Designer Aerin Lauder

The lovely granddaughter of Estee Lauder is quite a popular topic today.
She gave a delightful interview for House Beautiful, and was recently featured on my favorite home goods flash sale site: One Kings Lane.
The queen of elegance herself suggestions that the easiest way to add a look of elegance and class to your own home is by incorporating blue and white into the room. “Blue and white is part of my decorating DNA," she says. "I love it in any way, shape, or form.”
For her own home decor line, Aerin hopes to achieve the "effortlessly beautiful" look. Casual luxury some might say. Her latest decor items speak to the spring trend of pale greens and blues. Recreating her shades of green should be a snap for all your DIYers. Her inspiration for this shade came from her love of all things "fresh"- from edible greens, new spring grass, and of course the burst of spring leaves on all the trees.
Her top home decor suggestion for Spring? "Flowers, even if they are from your own garden"

Jean Adams on Apr 14, 2014I remember well, my blue & white phase. Still drop dead gorgeous, but we need change to keep US fresh. Love the Martha Stewart green and it is lasting a long time.
