My mother-in-law cried when she saw the house we were buying. I'm not even kidding. We had just sold our brand new construction house and were moving into a 1969 foreclosure.
It was the best decision we ever made. Mama agrees now as well.
We have knocked out walls, put in flooring, remodeling the kitchen, a bathroom, just about everything - and we love every single inch of our home. There are of course things that we still want to do, but I've never loved a house as much as this one.
