Mudrooms & Custom Organization by Red House Remodeling

Mudrooms, entries, whatever you call them, we all have those areas where everyone enters the house and deposits their "stuff." Usually on the floor. Usually in a messy pile. Take charge of the clutter with a custom space that gives everyone in your home a dedicated place for coats, bags, boots and more. These well designed spaces do more than keep clutter under cover, they make getting out the door easier, and who doesn't love an easy, stress-free exit?
These built in lockers have just slightly more square footage than the closet they replaced, but the space is far more useful with high cabinets and baskets for taller family members, and baskets below for the kids.
All family members can access the lockers, and the bench provides a convenient place to put on and take off shoes before they're stowed away in the baskets.
Hooks are a smart way to hang coats and bags, especially for children.
According to a National Association of Home Builders spokesperson, mudrooms average about 3 percent of the floor area in new homes.
