I have a shade that was pulled all the way out. Is there a way to re-roll?

Seems like I used to hang onto the little flat thing that's connected to the spring inside with a pair of pliers and rewind them. It's been so many years, I'm not really sure anymore! If it springs back, it's time to get a new shade.

Pamela has the right answer. I have them also and use a old fork to rewind them
