Whimsical Spring Mantel...begging for SUNshine...
My Spring mantel was literally begging for some sunshine. The best part is...it worked :)
A fun combination of whimsical letters and objects...
SUN...chalkboards made from thrift store canvases painted with chalkboard paint and embellished with yardsticks...a vintage letter U.
SHINE...pretty please :) The "sun" is a piece of rusty farm junk...that happened to be already painted yellow.
I made little nests in these aqua IKEA lanterns with brown paper shred, blue eggs and billiard balls...just for fun.
I have been having fun with color this Spring...which is new for this mostly "neutral" girl. How about you? My aqua ladder turned book shelf adds another pop of color to this space.
