Repurposed Doghouse Into a Chicken Coop!

So we had this old doghouse, and we wanted to get chickens, all it took was some creativity and a few other unused materials we had lying around. Oh and of course a wonderful husband with DIY skills....check it out, isn't it cute?
A foundation created from old cement piers...
I had this old window frame, picked up from a thrift store years ago, it happen to fit perfectly! The old tin roofing was removed from our falling down garage. We painted the coop to match our home!
Added a vent and nesting box to the back ...
He cut some tree branches to use for perches for them to roost and installed them inside.
He built them a ladder for easier access...
He built them a lean to on the side to keep feed dry and provide a little shade from the Texas heat.
Spoiled rotten Happy Chickens!!!
