Bringing Spring to the Front Door
Spring has finally arrived in the mid-west. I wanted to change our front door to something a little more exciting than black. I found a beautiful rug at Target and that was the inspiration for our front door which I painted Japanese Fern by Behr. It's definitely a bright color and stands out from all the other houses in our subdivision.
I will be adding some pillows and decor when I know spring is here to stay. Unfortunately we still may get some snow here so I don't want to finish it all yet. But just adding this bright pop of color makes me happy to come home!
I have plans for my hubby to build a bench for the front porch so we can use our chairs in the backyard on our deck.
Here's the front porch last spring, I was on the hunt for a rug but never found one. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can finish up the porch and enjoying it!

i will be painting it if the weather ever get,s better.Woke up to snow monday morning. I will post it. been painting furniture by the fire pit And i got bole with it. Love the chairs also.
