Bathroom Reno

When we first moved into our home the bathroom was the worst room. Now it is the best one by far! The walls were textured and painted purple. The vanity had a shell shaped sink. The flooring was tiled. We have renovated our home with barn board material. So we naturally carried this into the bathroom. With new flooring that looks like boards, a barn board medicine cabinet, custom made barrel planter with pump style faucet, and bead board covered the textured walls. The new shower curtain covers the yet to do tub, which we plan on making a tiled walk in shower!
Before, Wall paper that was behind the shell shaped sink/vanity.

I love the rustic look. Did you have to redo the wall insulation? We recently updated the bathroom in our older home and there was barely any insulation in the walls!! I couldn't believe it. We went with an injection foam insulation contractor.

Fabulous idea! So creative. I love wood, just wish the barrel top was a little more roomier. But still, fabulous. Great job.
