whats under the covers. horse hair and cotton batting with a burlap base
this is how I bought them the were red velvet that had faded to ORANGE you cannot see the orange color in this photo but it was ugly.
this is one finished pale pale pale aqua/seafoam

detail of the wood is awesome
my helper/friend removing the 300 plus tiny nails we had to remove before starting the process. It took hours to do this part.
no staples were used in this project just old school hammer and upholstery nails

    You are lucky to find more than one alike most of the ones I have picked up were only singles.

    These are the only ones I found a set of 4 and redid for my daughter a couple Christmas ago. Had to sand them, repair spindles, stain them and then cover them.
