Ruffled Dropcloth Curtains

I've been needing new living room curtains for a long time. Finally I tackled the project and I'm in love with the results. This is a large window, so I used a 9x12 dropcloth.
These dropcloth curtains were easy, if a little time consuming to make. But shortcuts, like not needing to hem the sides or bottom helped save some time. I just used the existing hems already on the dropcloth.
The ruffles took the most time, but added so much to the look. I alternated dropcloth and onasburg fabric for the ruffles.
The top ruffle was created by cutting off 12 inches off one end of the 6 foot side, then sewing it to the backside and flipping it over the top.
Loops made from trimmed hem edges of the dropcloth were easy. I used shower curtain rings for hanging.
