Tree Slice Shelves and a Giveaway

Homeroad
by Homeroad
This project began when I took a walk around the neighborhood. I found slices of an old tree that were left by the cut down stump. I knew in a minute what I could do with them!
Cutting the edge of the slice straight made it easy to attach with screws and glue to a painted board. Using my Silhouette machine, I stenciled the word FAMILY onto the painted board (the y lands on top of the shelf)
I stained the wood to even out the color. A wedge shaped shelf and a flat shelf round out the Family Tree photo gallery.

The Family Tree shelves are a beautiful tribute to an old tree. And make an awesome gallery wall.
