3 Fun Easter Egg Decorating Ideas

Had a blast creating these fun Easter eggs with my son. We started with a plain egg coloring kit and added food coloring and crafts for embellishments. The result was three very different designs: the cute and fuzzy chick and Easter bunny, the art-deco eggs, and the silly monster eggs.
I knew my son would love these silly little monsters. The egg coloring kit not only provided the pills for the color, but it contained the face stickers and the tiny cardboard bodies as well.
My son and I named these adorable creations: Shabby Chick and Runner Rabbit. To make these little friends, all you truly need is a hot glue gun and some imagination {along with a couple craft supplies - I made use of what I had on hand}.
My son and I displayed our more artsy side of our personalites by drip painting these eggs with food coloring after we drew squiggly lines on the warm egg with crayons. The result was amazing! Please check out the tutorial on my new blog at http://www.makeitfixitplanit.com/2014/04/14/3-cool-ways-to-decorate-easter-egg/. Thanks!!!
