Another view of the finished wall.

This is the finished wall that we LOVE! It will serve as the back drop for our eat-in area once we finish our kitchen remodel and get a table and chairs.

We removed planks from the privacy screen fence and sanded them down. Then we applied tung oil and dry brushed them with light gray paint to get an aged look.

Then we cut the planks to length and started applying the planks to the wall in a herringbone pattern. Full details on measurements, etc. are on my blog.

It moved fairly quickly!

We finished it off with crown and base molding and LOVE how it turned out!
