Need More Room To Sing In The Shower?

20 Minutes
Easy
Do you have one of those claustrophobic fiberglass showers? Me too! So I did something about it and now I am singing its praises (you might want ear plugs! lol).
You won't believe how much this changes your bathroom!

A curved shower rod supposedly can give you 6 or 7 inches of extra space in a shower but it feels like even more than that. Our 1970s gold standard fiberglass shower can feel claustrophobic at times, so it was time to give the curved shower rod a whirl.
The shower rod we got came with instructions, of course, but also with templates for hanging the brackets which was awesome! You must get these level so the curtain will stay closed.
Find out how I almost knocked myself out with this guy!

  • It's really incredible how much bigger it seems! Initially I was just doing it for the look because I went with industrial decor in the bathroom (reveal soon on the blog) but the side benefit ended up being the extra room!
