Cardboard Box Message Board

This is a great upcycling project that used a cardboard box, fabric scraps, and an old picture frame. It came together in no time and only cost a couple of dollars!
I cut 2 pieces of a cardboard box to fit in the opening of my frame. I hot glued them together, right on top of each other. Then I spray painted my frame black.
I used fabric scraps to cover the cardboard and hot glued them to the cardboard edges.
After the frame was dry, I popped in the cardboard and added a metal number.
I found some rustic carpet tacks and my board was ready to use!
This is a great project thats easy to personalize for any room and any style!

I have been pricing bulletin boards for my workroom, and found them just too expensive for the size I wanted. With your idea, I can make a number of these and label them for categories just as I do with so many of my "storage systems" : knitting, sewing, etc. I can't wait to try it. I am hoping it will look like a picture wall. I am so encouraged by all the creative people in this world! Love, love, love this!!
