DIY Fire Pit & Gravel Surround

by Homeroad
We brought this muddy, shady corner of our yard life in just a weekend. By covering the corner with pea gravel and a new fire pit we were able to create a functional and favorite corner of the yard.
Here is the BEFORE... a muddy, unused corner of our yard.
By using paving stones, we stacked several layers to create the fire pit.
The unused corner got a face lift with a ladder, and planters.

In one weekend, and a lot of sweat we turned this corner into a useable place for the family to gather. Edging and landscape cloth were used to cover the grass and hold in the pea gravel.
