Signs of Spring are everywhere now. The winter was a long one and all the spring blooms are about two weeks behind, but they are here! Greening lawns, leaf buds on trees and shrubs and the constant bird activity and song tell me there’s no going back now. My biggest temptation, as usual, is to jump the gun and plant too early. Nights are still very cool and I will have to be patient. Mother’s Day is our marker for planting after the possibility of frost and an easy date to remember (for zone 7a).

    I've been trying to take a few photos but I'm not wise to this digital high tech new world we live it, lol! I'll try to figure it out and post some of my blooms later!
