Add Stripes to Fabric With Fabric Paint

The 2 Seasons
by The 2 Seasons
It is easy to change up or freshen fabric by painting it with fabric paint. I bought a bench with stripes, but it needed some more colors. It was an easy fix. I just used painter's tape to mark off the area where the new colors would go and painted it.
Since I have yellows and reds in other parts of the room, they were the two colors I added at first.
Later on I decided to make the red stripe wider and then to also add some navy. First, I used painter's tape to protect the area beside the red so it wouldn't bleed.
This is the finished bench after I added red, yellow, and navy stripes to it. I helps make the dining room table feel a little less formal.
I love the way the fabric looks now. It matches the rest of the furniture in the room. I am happy with the practical solution I came up with.
