Spring is Here-renovation on My Porch is a Mess!

For the past couple of years I have been reporting on how the birds take over my porch every spring. Well this year with spring coming late, I did not even have a chance to get the pollen dust mopped up and porch dressed out before Momma bird was back doing HER spring cleaning of removing last year's nest (in the birdhouse just above that angel). Look at the mess she made! Notice the twigs hanging on the angel! All I can do now is blow off the mess when she is finished, make the porch pretty and go back inside. SHE will not allow us on the porch until after her babies are hatched, raised, and out of the nest! It is a good thing we have a screen back porch or we would be getting cabin fever! I hope to at least get it "clean" next week! We just let her have it to herself! Sigh!

You can still see the pollen on the porch floor. This mess was blown off but there will be more pollen this week and more Momma bird trash!

  @Georg Rachun HA! Mine is actually very pretty when dressed out, but I am expecting another week or so of pollen. Usually I have some time to clean it up and put out my rug and cushions and hang my baskets before SHE arrives with her mess! Now, she will just have to live with the disturbance when I do get out to clean! I would love to see a photo of your porch...love porches!
